Ezekiel McWilliams is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Master Addiction Counselor. He has been counseling and practicing in the field for the past 30 years. He was influenced to pursue a career in counseling when his best friend committed suicide at 19. He has worked tirelessly to dispel the stigma, the myths, and the negative perceptions held about mental health counseling. His focus has been working with individuals who have experienced trauma from life situations that has taken away their hope, passion, and/ or the desire to live. He believes that people can and do recover, to overcome life’s challenges, obstacles, and pitfalls. He utilizes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, practical tools, and a commonsense approach to help find balance, success, and happiness.
